About Joseph
Hi, I'm Joseph, a new undergrad student at Durham University, studying History and French. I enjoy sports at competitive levels as well as coaching to those of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. I have tutored English, as a foreign language, to refugee students from Afghanistan, Ukraine, Malaysia, Bali and Syria. I found this deeply rewarding and saw my students' abilities and confidence levels grow week on week. I love languages and hope that I can inspire confidence in you to help you ace that exam or become a better linguist.

- My private tutoring consists of discussions (developing speaking confidence), past papers (for students taking exams), and writing + reading proficiency. - Lessons last an hour as language learning is tiring and is done best regularly and effectively from my personal experience. - I achieved top grades at GCSE, Higher Level IB French, and hold a DELF B2 qualification. Aside from grades, I have been speaking French at home and in France since I was very small and understand that learning a language is very different to studying for a biology exam. It requires consistency and pushing yourself constantly. -My lessons provide a challenge to students of all levels, with the focus of improving confidence in speaking, writing, listening, and reading French.
