About Katie
Hi, nice to meet you! I am about to qualify as a paramedic following a three year bachelor's degree in Paramedic Science. I achieved an 8 in Maths at GCSE level and achieved an A, A* and Distinction in my A-levels. I understand how stressful the exam season can be and it's intimidating when you feel like you don't know where to start. As a neurodivergent learner myself, I am aware of the additional challenges students can face when learning. As a result, I take a collaborative approach and am more than happy to alter the focus/pace of learning to suit each student. I offer a supportive and nurturing environment alongside accountability and consistency. If I sound like a good match for you, please get in touch!

I offer 1-1 tutoring in Maths up to GCSE level. I offer weekly rolling sessions as well as block packs. I also offer a six week intensive course for GCSE Maths (AQA, Edexcel & OCR exam boards) consisting of: - One 60 minute online tutoring session each week; - 1 worksheet, which will be given at the end of each session, to complete during the week for consolidation of the previous week's content; - 3 resource packets for topics chosen by the student which they may require additional support with. The intensive course is based on 6-10 specific topics which the student feels they would benefit most from focusing on. This can be discussed in our free 30 minute first lesson.

Katie tutored my son for GCSE Biology when he was in year 10. He seemed to look forward to his lessons, which always had a focus and were planned prior to the lesson.
