Being a student myself I understand what would take students to grasp a particular topic. Giving notes, revising the topic after a week before it flushes off your mind and giving test is what makes it stay in your mind. Relating topics to your surroundings and giving real life examples makes it more easier to remember and this is my strategy in making the child remember as well as understand things. Because at the end of the day what we learn, what we have gained matters.
