About Andrés
I am a candidate for the degree of Historian, with studies completed in the U. de los Andes. I have experience in pedagogy courses, advice on historical topics, research and academic writing. I handle a wide range of topics of the History of Colombia from the Colony to the 21st century, contemporary history of the West (20th century), general topics on Social Sciences (civics, civic competences, politics, economics) and correction of academic texts.

My classes are aimed at elementary students and, in general, people of all ages interested in history. I use a master class methodology combined with active student interaction. Thus, the class follows a predetermined structure, but is open to the questions and concerns of those who are learning. I use technological and digital tools to give dynamism to the classes. For example, historical video games, interactive maps and online museums. I am receptive to concerns and patient when explaining.
