About Ethan
Hi, I’m Ethan! I’m currently studying Civil Engineering at Loughborough University, having previously studied A-Level Maths, Physics and Product Design.
I’ve always enjoyed Maths and Physics, particularly the challenge of taking a difficult problem and breaking it down into smaller, manageable steps. I’m a friendly and patient tutor who understands that everyone learns differently, and I aim to make lessons relaxed and enjoyable while still making real progress.
Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your grades, prepare for exams, or get to grips with a topic you’re finding difficult, I’ll work with you to find an approach that makes sense.
My aim is simple: to help you understand the subject, rather than just memorise it.

My lessons are focused on making Maths and Physics clear, engaging and easier to understand. I believe the best way to improve is not simply memorising formulae, but understanding why things work and learning how to apply them confidently to different questions.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, whether that means building confidence with the basics, working through difficult topics, preparing for exams, or challenging yourself with more advanced questions. We’ll work through problems together step-by-step, identify any areas you’re struggling with, and develop techniques you can use independently.
As a current Civil Engineering student with experience studying A-Level Maths and Physics, I understand how challenging these subjects can be and aim to create a relaxed environment where there are no silly questions. My goal is for you to leave each lesson feeling more confident and better prepared for your next challenge.
