About Lok Tien
I'm passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically. Although I don't have formal tutoring experience, my involvement in peer mentoring has given me valuable insights into how to support and motivate learners. I want to teach because I believe every student has the potential to excel with the right guidance and approach. I adapt my teaching to each student's pace, focusing on connecting different chapters to provide a comprehensive learning experience. I have participated in several peer mentoring programs and volunteered for tutoring to the disadvantaged, allowing me to gain some experience in this field. For primary and lower secondary students, a typical lesson lasts about 2 hours, allowing enough time for thorough understanding and interactive learning.
