My name is Janelle, and I'm here to support each student's success, whether in mathematics, English, or preparing for their future studies. Why choose me? I enjoy sharing my knowledge in an accessible and motivating way. Whether it's mathematics or English, I strive to make learning concrete and tailored to each student's needs, so they can progress with confidence and efficiency. In addition, I also support students with their academic and career guidance and the preparation of their university applications (Parcoursup). Mathematics: I begin by focusing on understanding fundamental concepts, explaining them clearly and progressively. I use exercises adapted to the student's level, moving from simple problems to more complex ones to reinforce learning. Typical lesson structure: 1) Quick needs assessment: we review any points that were unclear or current homework. 2) Explanations and examples: I ensure that the basics are well understood by reviewing key concepts with concrete examples. 3) Practice: it's time to work on exercises or practical situations to apply the concepts covered. 4) Feedback and advice: we correct together, and I give advice on how to improve (methodology, time management, etc.). My courses are intended for middle and high school students.
