About Sayuni
Hello! A little bit about me, I am a 2nd year psychology student with a deep passion for English, and writing. Through my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in English literature, composition, literature reviews, and essay writing.
As your tutor, I want to help you find your unique voice as a writer and overcome the mindset that essay writing is a "chore". I believe that writing is a powerful tool for self-expression, critical thinking, and sharing ideas that can impact the world around us.

The typical length of a lesson would be an hour (or two hours according to your preference).
I use a collaborative learning experience, where I foster an environment of constructive criticism and open exchange of perspectives. I provide well-written essay samples to analyse and deconstruct and encourage students to identify and evaluate the strength and weaknesses of these examples. I allocate time for explicit instructions on Grammar rules, sentence structure, and punctuation.
I have two years of experience as a Teacher's assistant in performance text and creative writing
My lessons are for ages 8-17, and at any level of fluency.
