About Anvi
My main job as a tutor and teacher is to help you gain knowledge in the most efficient way possible. I am very amenable and will work around what you feel like is the best way that you will be able to learn. I am also very flexible in class timings and my main priority is to make sure you leave class with a new perspective on the subject than when you walked. I was a volunteer tutor for underprivileged students and after tutoring these students for a couple of years, I have seen the incredible change in drive and motivation on top of them understanding the subject. I can ensure the same satisfaction for you as well.

I have been a volunteer tutor and a student teacher for over 5 years and have taught group and one-on-one classes for all grades K-12. I am most experienced in teaching mostly all math subjects including Calculus, chemistry and biology, and english. I usually start off my classes by understanding why the student needs help and what concepts they are specifically confused about. From there, I first go over the concept using example problems and walking them through how to approach them. Once I feel like they have a grip on the concept, I assign them a practice problem to try on their own, and then we go over the question together. The backbone of my teaching is based on consistent practice to learn concepts rather than just talking about it. I can teach students K-12.
