About Reshma
I am a patient tutor who will be able to help students grow and be able to reach new highs that maybe they didn't believe were achievable. With an open to learning mindset from students as well as a dedicated and serious approach to learning, students who work with me will be able to prosper. Mathematics is my strongest subject, gaining 9's in a substantial amount of exams. I also teach further mathematics for GCSE students, a subject that I took for GCSES. Biology is also one of the subjects I love due to its individuality and uniqueness compared to the other sciences. I will only be teaching these 3 subjects because I want to offer my students the best possible tutoring they can ever receive.

When tutoring, I start the lesson off with a brief greeting making sure my student is in the right mindset to start working. I then begin with a starter which consists of questions from topics we studied the lesson before and, depending on the student, questions from the lesson we are about to do to see if they are able to use their knowledge to work out unfamiliar questions . I will then start the lesson with the new topic, explaining how things work if it's biology or how to get to a certain answer if it's maths. I will make sure a student leaves my lesson feeling as if they have learnt something new and also feeling confident and excited for the next lesson.
