About Hermiena
Hello and welcome! My name is Hermiena (HJ in short), and I’m passionate about helping students learn in a way that feels encouraging, effective, and enjoyable. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, and I offer tutoring in both languages. My lessons are ideal for primary school learners, high school students, and adult learners who want to improve their communication, writing, reading, or exam skills. While I may not have a formal teaching degree, I have years of hands-on experience in mentoring and supporting learners—both as an au pair and as a parent.
