About Amita Kumari

With a graduation in Mathematics, a Master's in Computer Applications, and 19 years of experience in the IT industry, I bring together strong analytical skills, practical problem-solving experience, and a genuine passion for teaching.
My teaching journey began at home with my own child and gradually extended to children in our residential community. Seeing students gain confidence, understand difficult concepts, and begin to enjoy Mathematics inspired me to take this passion beyond my immediate circle.
I believe every child can learn Math when it is taught in the right way! My approach focuses on understanding each student's needs, explaining concepts in simple language, connecting Mathematics to real-life situations, and adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
Now, I am excited to reach a wider group of students, share my knowledge, and make a meaningful difference in their learning journey.
My goal is simple: To turn Math anxiety into confidence, confusion into clarity, and learning into enjoyment!
I offer Mathematics tuition for students from Classes 7 to 12, along with selected undergraduate-level Mathematics topics, depending on the syllabus.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student's individual needs, learning pace, and strengths. I believe Math becomes easy and enjoyable when concepts are explained clearly and connected to real-life situations.
I use simple explanations, practical examples, interactive discussions, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques. I encourage students to ask questions, think logically, and develop their own problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing formulas.
Every class is planned according to the student's requirements. I begin by reviewing previous concepts, introduce new topics with relatable examples, practice problems together, and assess understanding through exercises. The structure and pace of each class are flexible and can be adjusted based on the student's progress, confidence, and learning needs.
I focus on building strong fundamentals, making Math fun and less intimidating, identifying learning gaps, and providing individual attention. I connect mathematical concepts to everyday life to help students understand not just how to solve a problem, but also why the method works. My goal is to build confidence, develop logical thinking, and help students achieve their academic goals.
I offer Math tuition for students in Classes 7 to 12, tailored to their school curriculum and examination requirements. I can also teach selected undergraduate-level Mathematics topics, depending on the student's syllabus and learning objectives.
