About Anthony
Hi, I'm Anthony — a friendly, patient GCSE maths tutor based in London. I help students who find Maths challenging, confusing, or stressful — especially at foundation level. My goal is simple: to make sure you actually understand what you're doing, not just memorise it. I hold an A* in GCSE Maths and a B in A-level Maths, and I’ve always loved problem-solving and spotting patterns. But what motivates me more is seeing that moment when a student gets it — and realises maths isn't as scary as it seemed. My approach is relaxed but structured — I adapt each lesson to your pace and focus on what’s actually holding you back. Whether it’s fractions, percentages, ratios or algebra, I’ll explain things clearly and go through as many examples as you need. Lesson availability: Weekdays: 9:30am – 5:00pm Some weekends available I specialise in: - Foundation Tier GCSE Maths (Grades 1–5) - KS3 Maths support (Years 7–9) - Building confidence in arithmetic and numeracy - Adult learners or those returning to study Rate: From £20 per hour First lesson free so we can talk about your goals and see if we’re a good fit.

I focus on building confidence and deep understanding. I break topics into smaller simple steps, use lots of real life examples, and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions — there is no pressure or rush. My lessons are relaxed but goal-focused.
