About Nadia
I have a bachelor's in biology and am pursuing a master's in environmental engineering. Due to the course of my education, I have completed a variety of math courses. Currently, I'm a tutoring instructor contracted with a local school district, so I understand and am willing to work with different learning styles specified for each student. I believe in encouragement and positive motivation to get students to understand and enjoy the course material.

I'm offering lessons as a K-12 math tutor ranging from arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. My tutoring style focuses on one-on-one sessions with preparation and goal setting, using a "back to basics" approach. A typical lesson plan would include looking over teacher-provided material and ensuring the student understands fundamental concepts before moving forward and incorporating "real world" scenarios to help the student understand the importance of the subject matter.
