About Parker
My drive for turning complex data into meaningful insights governs my journey. I'm a recent graduate from Purdue University, dual majoring in Business Analytics and Accounting, but have advanced training in mathematics. One of my proudest achievements was passing the Actuarial Exam P - a challenging test with only a 40% pass rate. This accomplishment reflects my dedication to mathematical precision and strategic problem-solving. However, my story is about much more than a single exam. I've let commitment to lifelong learning and community touch define both my academic and professional journeys thus far. Parker helped me understand statistics when I was struggling. We had weekly study sessions together in which he would walk through whatever we had learned that week.
He would go above and beyond to check my work and answers to extra problems I did in an attempt to bring my grade up. I had a 70 when I first started with Parker and 8 weeks later I finished with an 88.
Parker's teaching style is very explanatory. He clearly explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. He will not just give you the answer. If you are looking to get better grades - he is your man!Parker and I had many different statistics classes together. He has extensive knowledge of not only statistics, but finding ways to better help you understand the lessons you are being taught. He would help me understand the lectures and the processes for solving problems, when I would struggle. He will be able to help you understand the lesson, and work with you to walk through problems, and has great patience.
