About Shyami

I am a Medic applicant with a deep passion for mathematics and science.
As a medic applicant, maths and science are part of my daily life. I have mastered the very subjects you are studying and know exactly what it takes to excel in them.

I bring an enthusiastic, positive, and patient approach to every lesson. I know how stressful high school can be, so I focus on building your confidence just as much as your knowledge.

Because I went through the school exam system myself not too long ago, I understand the pressure you are under and can share the exact study tips and memory hacks that I have also personally used!

My tutoring is structured, supportive, and designed entirely around the SQA National 5 curriculum. No two students learn the same way, so every session is adapted to your specific goals and pain points.

• Diagnostic First Step: We start by identifying exactly where your gaps are—whether it's mastering quadratics in Maths or balancing chemical equations in Chemistry.

• Interactive Breakdown: I don't just lecture. We work through tricky concepts together using clear, step-by-step visual breakdowns and simple analogies.

• Exam-Focused Practice: We heavily use SQA past papers and marking schemes. You will learn exactly how to format your answers to win maximum marks from the examiners.

• Confidence & Pace: Sessions move at your speed. There are no "silly questions"—my goal is to build an environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
