About Vaughn
I am a dedicated singing tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching students of all ages, including schoolchildren, college students, and working professionals. My aim is to help students discover their voice, improve their technical skills, and gain the confidence to perform with ease. I believe that singing is not just about notes—it is a form of self-expression, creativity, and emotion.
In my lessons, I focus on developing vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone quality, and voice projection. I also cover music theory, rhythm, and sight-reading to provide students with a complete understanding of music. Performance skills, including stage presence, expression, and audience engagement, are a key part of my teaching, ensuring that students can communicate effectively through their voice.
I adapt lessons to suit each student’s level and goals. Beginners receive patient guidance to build a strong foundation, while advanced students receive structured coaching to refine their skills, prepare for performances, and overcome challenges such as stage fright or vocal strain. I emphasise consistent practice, structured guidance, and regular feedback to ensure steady improvement.
My mission is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to explore their voice and enjoy the learning process. I strive to help students develop technical mastery, artistic expression, and a lifelong passion for singing.

My teaching methodology for Singing combines technical learning with emotional support to help students grow steadily. I use real-life examples and case studies from songs and live performances to show how singing techniques are applied in real situations. Empathy is central to my teaching, as I understand that every student’s vocal journey is different.
I follow a flexible teaching approach, adapting lessons and exercises to suit learning pace and vocal ability. Clear communication allows students to understand techniques easily and apply them confidently. Through a problem-solving approach, I guide students in overcoming vocal challenges such as breath control issues, pitch problems, and vocal strain. In addition to Singing, I teach supporting subjects like music fundamentals, ear training, rhythm practice, vocal health, and performance preparation.
