About Ekta
I am a Business & Strategy Consultant, holding a First-Class degree in Economics, Finance & Management. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics at A-Level, and have previous teaching experience in Maths & Gujarati. I was previously a private tutor, successfully leading my students to achieve the top grades. I am passionate about teaching and helping my students progress.
In the last 7 years, I have helped 30+ students to achieve their potential. I can lead you to identify the major mistakes that you are making, as well as define an optimal action plan for upcoming tests and exams.
The truth is, a single way of teaching doesn’t work anymore. As a student I had tutors that helped me in Maths, Further Maths, English, 11+ preparation, French, Physics and Chemistry. You can now leverage in one session the teaching experience I gained from all the experts who helped me, all my school teachers, and my study partners, thanks to Tutorful.
Having been through the school system and university, I know exactly the types of challenges a student can face. When we start coaching, my goal is not simply to provide you with a good one-hour training session. My goal is that you succeed, whatever your specific goal is. As a consequence:
- If you have a last-minute test/exam, I will provide you my personal number and will be available for you over the phone for last-minute doubts after the session, free of charge
- I will be available by email for additional tips and material until you have actually achieved your goals
Thanks to many thousands of hours revising for my own tests and exams, I have learned the most time-effective strategies to maximise overall performance.

My teaching methodology varies based on how my students learn. If my students have a particular topic they struggle with, then I will guide them through that. If they want to learn the entire subject, then I will follow the curriculum of the examination body and ensure they go through everything they need to achieve the top grades.
