About Holly
Working in animation was always the dream! But I’ve always planned to teach in the end. I love sharing skills and encouraging peers and students to reach their goals and see their visions through. I've worked with kids from ages 2-14 years as a camp cartooning instructor, and have worked with teams filled with amazing talents everywhere from Disney, to DreamWorks, to Skydance and more!
Becoming a great artist is not about talent or tools; it's about having the courage (and a little dose of insanity) to push through 1000 ugly drawings to find your way. Like any great skill, artwork takes an understanding of the world around you, observation, practice, and muscle memory. My lessons are for artists of any level who value human efforts to bring magic into the world. Let's make some magic together :-)

Class A: Art Fundamentals
We’ll get down to the basics: draftsmanship, understanding of light and form, composition
Class B: Animation Track
Let's learn the basics of character design for animation, and foundation skills for all animators. Some form of animation software is required: we can discuss free options together.
Class C: Storyboard Track
I'll take you through how to create your own storyboard, and what makes a good story shine.
