About Ibrahim
I am a charismatic and dependable teacher with 5 years of experience delivering instruction to various levels of learners, in both public and private educational settings. I have been tutoring at the KS3/GCSE level since 2015, and have held full-time and part-time secondary school teaching roles since 2017. I have published a number of teaching resources, which have been used by thousands of educators and learners across the country. I am currently studying for a Masters in Mathematics and Computer Science, alongside my role as a STEM teacher and coordinator at a secondary school, and assistant manager at a well-known tuition provider.

I am committed to providing students with the necessary tools to achieve their academic goals while instilling the love of learning and cooperative teamwork. My ultimate goal is to empower my students with the ability to undertake independent learning and overcome their individual academic challenges, equipping them with important skills for further education and beyond. Within a few months of study, students are not only confident for their exams, but also have a deeper understanding of the topics in the syllabus and beyond.
Lessons usually involve a mixture of explanations, examples, and practice questions, with a discussion on different methodologies and exam techniques. Students are guided through the process of discovering the reasoning and effectiveness behind the methods used, as well as applying what they are learning in a variety of contexts.
The long-term structure of my lessons follows national curriculum guidance, and I teach the AQA and Edexcel specifications, but my schemes of work can be adapted to the individual situation. Students are always welcome to suggest topics which they would like to cover in upcoming lessons.
