About Me & My Teaching Style:
I teach for understanding. My goal is to help you build from the ground up so you can tackle difficult concepts with confidence and independence.
With a degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, I know firsthand that complex subjects cannot simply be memorised. My teaching style focuses on taking highly technical concepts, algorithms, and maths proofs and breaking them down into simple, logical steps that actually make sense.
Who I Teach:
High School Students: Grade 11 and 12 students who want to build a solid foundation and improve their maths problem-solving skills.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
My lessons are structured, patient, and interactive. Here is how we work:
- Find the Gap: We start by figuring out exactly where the confusion is, rather than just blindly doing past papers.
- Work Together: We go through examples step-by-step, making sure you understand the "why" behind every line of code or formula.
- Try It Yourself: You tackle problems on your own while I give you real-time feedback, making sure you are fully prepared for your next assignment or exam.
