About Emir Faruk
Since April 2021, I play the guitar in Berlin, mostly on the street. Because people were always showing interest for this different style of playing and asking how they can learn, I thought I can share my experience with beginners, so that they at least have a basic understanding of microtonal music.

I only offer fretless guitar lessons for beginners. During our lessons you will learn basics of this style with an introduction to the Turkish maqam theory (microtonal music) and essential techniques. Different maqams will be theoretically explained and a song in that maqam will be played. I'll also teach how they correspond to the western scales and harmony.
