About Mary
Hello! My name is Mary, and I’m a native Swahili speaker from Kenya with a deep passion for language, culture, and helping others learn. I have over 3 years of experience teaching Swahili to learners from all over the world — from absolute beginners to those wanting to improve their fluency. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and interactive. I believe language learning should be fun and practical, so I focus on real conversations, cultural context, and everyday Swahili that you can use right away. Whether you're preparing for travel, business, exams, or just love African languages, I tailor each lesson to your personal goals. Outside of teaching, I love East African music, literature, and food. I often bring those into my lessons to keep things lively and engaging!
