About Maya
I have been teaching students over a wide range of subjects for the past decade and love seeing where there are gaps in the student's learning, discovering why they are there, and filling them in. I reflect students' inquisitiveness back at them and have led many students to realize a true love for learning and problem solving through patience and curiosity.

My lessons: are designed to be conversational and student led where students discover the answer through clear guidance instead of rote memorizing or being told the answer. This builds actual academic capability that will sustain them in the future.
10 years of debate coaching and tutoring experience
For students of any skill level and age (typically high school students) looking to build strong, lifelong skills in above areas.
Qualifications: 3rd year student at Stanford University studying Electrical Engineering and Classics. Strong background in philosophy, classics, literature. Achieved all 9s and A/A* during GCSEs and A Levels.
