My approach to tutoring is centred around making business and sport management both practical and engaging. I focus on helping students understand real-world applications of concepts rather than just memorising theory. This is especially important in subjects like business, where applying knowledge to case studies and exam questions is key to success.
I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs and learning style. In our first session, I identified strengths, areas for improvement, and academic goals. From there, I structure lessons around clear objectives — whether that’s improving exam technique, understanding key theories, or building confidence with coursework and assignments.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. Sessions usually include a mix of explanation, interactive discussion, and practice questions. I also incorporate past paper questions and real-life examples from the sports and business industries to deepen understanding and keep lessons relevant.
I hold a Master’s degree in Sport Management and have experience leading and organising within a university sports and events management society, including serving as President. This has strengthened my communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, which I bring into my tutoring to create a supportive and structured learning environment.
My lessons are suitable for A-level and university students studying business or sport management, as well as beginners who are interested in gaining a foundational understanding of these subjects.
