In my elementary classroom, I take a thoughtful and structured approach to lesson planning. I begin by reviewing state standards and curriculum goals to ensure that each lesson aligns with required learning objectives. I then differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students, incorporating a mix of visual, auditory, and hands-on activities to support various learning styles. I integrate formative assessments into my plans to monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed. I also make sure to include opportunities for student engagement, critical thinking, and collaboration in every lesson. When tutoring students online, I apply many of the same principles. I assess the student's current level and learning style, then design individualized sessions that target their specific needs in reading or math. I use interactive tools, digital resources, and clear communication to create a supportive and effective virtual learning environment.
