About Danielle
My name is Miss Danielle and I cannot wait to meet my new students! I have been a speech language pathologist for 10 years and have worked with kids and adults of all ages. I received my bachelors degree in Communication Studies from St. Joseph’s College and my masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from LIU Post. While working on my degrees and certifications I worked as a 1:1 aid with preschool students, as a counselor in recreation programs, and as a care provider to young children with special needs in their homes and communicates. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and I am abundantly blessed to now have 3 little ones of my own. Not only do I bring extensive knowledge of speech and language development to my sessions, but I also bring a whole child approach with care and compassion.
While I of course address needs in articulation, speech fluency, receptive and expressive language; I also specialize in infant and childhood feeding, snd Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

About the lesson

The goals of each lesson will custom and adjusted to meet the needs of each individual student. Goals will be targeted through fun interactive sessions which follow a typical “circle time” routine, which will be structured around various themes (weather, outer space, sports, farm animals, etc).
I place heavy emphasis on fun and play based learning! Even virtually, playful lessons will engage students and inspire learning and growth.
Lessons will include:
- A hello song
- Story Time
- Movement and Music
- A goodbye song
- and more!
Through these sessions, goals including articulation, phonology, auditory progressing, social skills/pragmatic langue, vocabulary, grammar, and more can be targeted. Information about your child’s speech and/or language needs will be collected prior to the first meeting.
Feedback about progress and tips for practicing outside of the lessons will be provided weekly!
My sessions are ideal for early learners ages 3 to 7, though lessons for older students can be arranged as well.
