About Marcelo
I have taught chess to ages 8-12 before(in chess), meaning I have experience coaching kids, but all ages are more than welcome! I also have participated in many debate tournaments and in the Practice Space(In El Cerrito/Richmond). Meaning I am well versed in gathering data, debating, and speaking publicly! I can pass this onto you! I pride myself in being an affordable way to delve more into your hobby, I do truly believe I am a bang for your buck!

In my lessons, I will guide you on how to expertly structure your speech or debate. In debate, it’s essential to present your argument clearly through a structured format that includes a strong claim, supporting data, and a compelling warrant. I will teach you how to effectively gather data and seamlessly connect it with your warrant. For speeches, I will refine your delivery and show you how to captivate your audience from the very start. To ensure that you get the value you think you deserve, I will analyze and critique a video of you speaking publicly, or speaking in general. All free of charge!(Just keep it under 5 minutes! )

I’ve known Marcelo for almost 5 years now, he is a very reliable friend. He is also a great chess player and has played many games with me.
