About VICTOR
Usually students prefer to focus on technique, which is my strong point. I always work with songs of interest to the students and at a comfortable level for their evolution. I teach at least the basics of theory and harmony (advancing according to the student's needs).
I am specialized in the set of techniques of the Fingerstyle, managing to incorporate the style right into the beginning of the student's process, in a basic, natural way.
We practice the techniques of Fingerstyle with immediate applications, which can already be incorporated into the songs that the student already plays.
Fingerstyle's trajectory is very personal. Fingerstyle is about discovery, innovation. There is no rule about what to learn first, so a first class is important so that I can get to know the student and work according to their interests.
I also teach electric and acoustic guitar and ukulele with no connection to fingerstyle, focusing on standard techniques.
TENDINITIS AND POSTURAL / PHYSICAL GUIDANCE: having suffered from tendinitis, I know the importance of indicating the ideal posture for the student, warm-up before playing and cool-down after, and strengthening exercises; in addition to the ideal training time, pauses, etc. For those who have tendinitis, I can indicate the correct path to recovery (which, obviously, does not replace the work of a physiotherapist - must be used together).

I studied Social Sciences, which gave me a good knowledge in Pedagogy. Then, I studied a little of Psychology (self-taught) which also added me in terms of didactics. I have experience with tutoring, teaching English classes (private - individual and group) and music.
In all classes, I always try to adapt to meet the student's interest. I adjust the lecture format according to the demands of the class so that there is maximum development, and I correct the course whenever necessary and convenient.
My history with music is long. I started playing at the age of 14 and always took it seriously. I had to face tendinitis, postural problems, the belief that it's not possible to work with music, tireless perfectionism and stage phobia. Even though I have overcome most of these problems, I continue to learn and develop each day.
