About Sandra
Hello! I’m a qualified specialist school teacher with experience teaching all key stages including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I am passionate about helping every child develop confidence, enjoy learning, and reach their full potential. I understand that every learner is unique, so I tailor my lessons to suit each student’s needs, strengths, and learning style.
I became a tutor because I enjoy making a positive difference in children’s lives. Seeing students grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. Whether your child needs support with English, Maths, Reading, Writing, Phonics, or SATs preparation, I provide patient, engaging, and encouraging lessons that make learning both enjoyable and effective. My aim is to help every student feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress.

I provide engaging, personalised lessons that are tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence by breaking down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps. I use practical activities, questioning, visual aids, and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger learners. I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 2, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I create a patient, supportive, and encouraging environment where every learner feels valued and motivated to succeed.
I offer tutoring for primary-aged children in English, Maths, Reading, Writing, Phonics, and SATs preparation. Whether your child needs help catching up, boosting confidence, or stretching their abilities, I will create lessons that meet their individual needs and help them achieve their full potential.
