The first step is to understand where your child is mathematically. What can they do, what are they secure with. From there we need to develop an individual program that will engage your child carefully through the next steps. I feel it is greatly important that the pupil plays a role in the development of their learning program, that they understand the purpose of the learning and develop their own understanding of their learning journey.
