About Maha
I want to teach as I have always loved Biology but could never flourish in school due to the teaching styles not being suitable for my neurodiverse brain. I had to teach myself specific “hacks” and new learning methods that helped me keep on track with my peers instead of constantly falling behind yet still being at a high level. I would use the knowledge from my Psychology A-Level to also help me retain information in Biology.
I want others to know that learning abstract Biological concepts is still possible despite having ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia or any type of Neurodiversity.

About the lesson

English
- Flexible times ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, breaks can be included.
- Learning can be catered towards ADHD, simplifying complex concepts into digestible information with an emphasis on colour coding which allows for the brain to process information more efficiently in neurodiverse brains.
- GCSE and A-Level Biology, specifically around understanding complicated concepts eg: Krebs Cycle, Digestion & Absorption etc.
- Biology Essays (AQA Paper 3)
- I have taught myself and friends using my Biology A-Level & GCSE, learning I had to change the way I processed information to suit my ADHD which also helped others learn.
- I also have an A-Level & GCSE in Psychology so I may understand the mental processes of the individuals and any struggles they may have whilst working.
