About Lucas
I am a Gap year student heading to Bristol University to study Electrical Engineering. I am very passionate about my Maths and programming. I have been programming from a young age, so I know the concepts inside out. This means my students can ask about things beyond the syllabus if they wish. I really love my tutoring. It is incredibly fulfilling to see my students develop and succeed. This also helps me put more work into making the most of your time. My previous students have gone up an average of two grades higher than they were on track for in GCSE, so going from a 6 to an 8 for example.

For STEM subjects, practice makes perfect. I believe seeing my student go through a question lets me see their thought process so I can target their problems at the lowest level. I try my best to keep lessons exciting and energetic, I understand that my students may not have the same level of interest as I do. Lessons typically last an hour. However, this can be flexible if inconvenient for the student. I have top grades in 4 A levels including Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science and am heading to Bristol to study Engineering. I have been tutoring for three years and have had 5 Students. So far I have only tutored in GCSE Maths, now I am expanding my range of subjects offered.
