About Viktoriia
I have over 5 years of teaching experience, primarily in teaching English to children and adults, and recently focusing on Russian as a foreign language. I studied Linguistics, specializing in Theory and Methodology of Teaching at MISiS University and hold a Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) certificate. My professional expertise includes: • Communicative and conversation-driven teaching, tailored to individual student goals. • Grammar, reading, listening, and writing instruction for beginners and intermediate learners. • Incorporating Russian culture, literature, and authentic materials into lessons. • Adapting lessons for learners of all ages, from children to adults. I’m Viktoriia — your future Russian and English teacher I’m easy to talk to, fun to learn with – but don’t be fooled, I’m also serious and demanding when it comes to results Why learn with me? • I’ve been teaching for 5 years — first English, now also Russian (my native language). • I speak several languages myself, so I know what it feels like to struggle with speaking and confidence. • I focus on real communication — no boring drills, only language you can actually use. What my lessons look like: Lots of speaking and interaction (even for beginners!). A good balance of grammar, reading, listening, and writing – but always in context. Personalized lessons that adapt to your goals – whether you need conversational practice, travel prep, or help with exams. I’m not just a teacher – I’m a Russian soul living in Greece. I miss my grandma’s pancakes, my grandpa’s sauna, and the Russian fields full of strawberries. That’s why my lessons are full of culture, humor, and real-life stories – both Russian and English. Outside teaching I read tons of books, knit cozy things, run, do yoga, and travel. I adore cooking (ask me about borscht and blinchiki). And if you like dogs – perfect! I can talk about French Bulldogs forever! I speak English, Greek, Serbian, and understand Spanish – so we’ll definitely find common ground. You’ll laugh, make mistakes (that’s part of the process!), and improve faster than you think.
