About Thien

Hi! I'm Thien, a native Vietnamese teacher with over 6 years of experience helping foreigners learn Vietnamese.

If you're struggling with pronunciation, tones, listening speed, or sounding natural, I'll help you build a clear and effective learning path.

My lessons focus on speaking from day one. After each class, you'll be able to confidently use 1–2 practical Vietnamese sentences without spending hours on homework.

Many of my students can handle basic everyday conversations within 3 months, such as ordering coffee or shopping in Vietnamese.

About the lesson

Learning Vietnamese should be practical, fun, and connected to real life! Besides language lessons, I love sharing simple Vietnamese cooking tips that help students discover our culture in an enjoyable way.

You'll learn useful everyday skills, such as how to keep vegetables bright green and perfectly crisp when boiling, or how to pan-sear meat with very little oil while keeping it juicy, flavorful, and delicious. These simple techniques are commonly used in Vietnamese homes and make cooking both healthy and enjoyable.

Through food, language, and culture, you'll gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam while building confidence in your Vietnamese communication skills.
