About Preston
I am an avid traveller, lover of languages, fluent speaker of three, and working on more. I have helped many of my friends and acquaintances overcome one of the most difficult obstacles of learning any language, mastering the accent. My major in college was political science, but I took my fair share of advanced Spanish literature courses, if that's your thing. I've also studied Spanish etymology, linguistics, and history. I have lived in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, and Peru. I am familiar with just about every variant of the language, and would love to help you improve your speaking, reading, and/or writing.

I tailor my approach to whomever I am teaching. I am a problem solver, so come to me with your problems and we can tackle them together. I firmly believe in teaching understanding and communicating concepts; I do not believe in superficial memorizing. Language is a tool that was meant to be developed and honed by constant communication, clarification, and feedback. Do not expect to learn a language by reading a book.
