About Emily-lopez
I am half-Spanish and know the language fluently. Specialise in speaking and listening but capable to help in all areas of the language. GCSE grade 9 (and other qualifications) and have previous experience in tutoring in person mainly. I have tutored 6 students in person, starting as young as 14. I have an abundance of resources, mainly reading, that can be utilised as well. Also am open to teach French as I have completed A level French, including grammar, speaking, vocabulary and more.
Languages are undoubtedly difficult subjects and some help can really push students to excel.

My teaching method revolves around understanding the students personal strengths and weaknesses and utilising them to guide the lessons. I am a confident and frequent technology user therefore can complete lessons through various platforms with online resources etc. For my past students, I have helped build on their vocabulary, complexity of sentences/ speech to boost their level and marks in exams, set writing exercises including marking them and giving feedback. Open to other methods of teaching too, based on the individual student's goals.
