About Ling
Hi, I’m Ling, a Chinese teacher with 5 years of experience teaching Mandarin to students from different backgrounds and levels. I am currently a PhD candidate in Spanish Literature and I speak Spanish fluently, which allows me to support Spanish-speaking learners with clear explanations and precise comparisons between Chinese and Spanish.
My academic background and teaching experience have helped me develop a professional, patient, and well-structured approach to language learning. I understand that studying Chinese can feel challenging at first, especially because of tones, characters, and sentence structure, so I guide my students step by step with clear goals and practical methods.
In my classes, students can expect a respectful, encouraging, and organized learning environment. I prepare lessons according to each student’s level, needs, and objectives, whether they are learning Chinese for school, university, work, travel, exams, or personal interest. I pay close attention to pronunciation, grammar accuracy, communication skills, and cultural understanding, helping students build both confidence and real ability.

Hi, I’m Ling, a Chinese teacher with 5 years of experience in Mandarin teaching. I’m currently a PhD candidate in Spanish Literature and I speak Spanish fluently, so I can teach Chinese in Spanish when needed. This makes my lessons especially helpful for Spanish-speaking students, because I can explain pronunciation, grammar, characters, and cultural differences in a clear and accessible way.
In my classes, I focus on helping students build real communication skills step by step. I like to create a relaxed but well-structured learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and improving naturally. Each lesson is adapted to your level, goals, and learning rhythm, whether you want to start from zero, improve your conversation, understand grammar better, prepare for exams, or learn Chinese for travel, work, or personal interest.
