About Estelle
I am a Spanish tutor with over 10 years of experience and a BA in Comparative Literature (Spanish and another language), specializing in teaching language through art and architecture. My lessons immerse students in paintings, sculptures, and architectural masterpieces from Spanish-speaking cultures.
We explore artistic movements, critique works, and discuss historical styles, using Spanish to describe techniques, forms, and cultural significance. Lessons include architectural vocabulary and design concepts to expand descriptive language.
I focus on analytical thinking, encouraging students to express opinions and observations fluently in Spanish. This method strengthens cultural appreciation and communication skills simultaneously. Students gain confidence describing visual and spatial elements in detail.
Each session is tailored to individual interests and goals. Exercises include presentations, discussions, and visual analysis to enhance fluency and expression. Language learning becomes engaging, creative, and intellectually stimulating.

My Spanish teaching approach focuses on discussing environmental and sustainability topics in a thoughtful and meaningful way. I help students build vocabulary to talk about climate change, conservation, and eco-friendly practices.
