About Ivy
My passion for Spanish developed through literature studies, travel experiences, and cultural exploration during university education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages before earning a PhD in Spanish Language Communication. During the last 12 years, I have helped students improve fluency through supportive teaching and practical communication methods.
I believe every learner develops differently, so I adapt lessons according to confidence level, communication goals, and learning pace. Some students improve faster through listening and speaking practice, while others benefit more from grammar explanation and structured exercises. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and natural language development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying regional dialects, reading Hispanic literature, and participating in intercultural language activities. Staying connected to Spanish culture helps me introduce authentic examples into lessons. Teaching Spanish is rewarding because I enjoy helping students communicate clearly and confidently.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate confidently through practical speaking activities and structured language learning. I teach pronunciation, grammar foundations, vocabulary development, sentence structure, listening comprehension, and conversational Spanish using interactive exercises that make learning enjoyable and approachable. Lessons are encouraging, engaging, and designed to build fluency steadily.
Beginners improve through guided pronunciation practice, repetition exercises, and short dialogues that strengthen understanding step by step. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar accuracy, listening skills, and smoother conversational flow through roleplays and structured discussions. Advanced students focus on fluent communication, cultural expression, and more natural language usage through deeper speaking activities.
I encourage students to practice actively instead of worrying about mistakes during conversations. Lessons support confidence, curiosity, and practical communication while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident while using Spanish naturally in everyday situations.
