About María
My name is María, a 23-year-old girl from Madrid. I came to Dublin a little over a year ago to live a different experience and I was captivated by its atmosphere and the people there. I am a very outgoing and sociable girl, I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures.
My big hobby is cinema, I have very good recommendations for Spanish series and movies that we can discuss in our classes! Although my favorite will always be Game of Thrones :)
I studied journalism because I had a great vocation for communication and writing, and I really enjoyed the degree and learned a lot.
I am very flexible and empathetic, I will always try to find the schedules and classes that best suit the students.

I have worked for years in a school reinforcement academy (Academia Aprobando) in Madrid, teaching morphology and Spanish language. I have always liked the world of teaching in a dynamic and fun way, but maintaining a teaching method that reflects progress. I graduated 2 years ago in Journalism given my passion for the world of communication, which has helped me perfect communication skills and all the correct forms of language and morphology.
I usually base the teaching methodology on a more theoretical part, where I give and recommend exercises and theory that we review together, and a practical conversation part, but I can adapt and personalize them according to the skills that you most need to improve! I can adapt classes for all levels, whether you want to perfect the language or are just starting out.
I live near the center of Dublin, I can offer classes online or in person depending on location. We can also organize meeting points or even organize an activity while we practice Spanish!
