About Erik
My name is Erik Valencia and I will be happy to help you learn Spanish / Catalan at every level, also from scratch. I come from Barcelona, I live in the Tri-City and work with children in an international British primary school and adults as a Spanish teacher. Before I came to Gdańsk in September, I gained experience at "The International School of Catalunya" in Barcelona, I have been working as a teacher for 8 years. I am a political scientist by profession, I also worked as a music teacher. ENG: Hello all! I am a Primary Education teacher (languages specialty) by Camilio José Cela University (Madrid) and a political scientist by Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). I have been a Spanish and Catalan teacher at The International School of Catalunya (primary and secondary), La Mancha language academy (adults) and I am currently a Spanish teacher at British International School of Gdansk (Poland). In addition, I have taken some teacher training courses (Spanish and English teaching) at the Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo. I also have a professional music degree (violin and piano).

I appreciate the friendly atmosphere during the lesson, I believe that it is conducive to effective learning. You have to enjoy to learn! Lessons take place online via Skype / Microsoft Teams / Zoom.
