About Cheryl
I am a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a Bachelor of Humanities and the Arts in flute performance, under Professor Alberto Almarza. I love teaching and have had experience teaching flute, piano, English, and horseback riding in the past. Teaching is fulfilling to me because I want to help others and I love watching people improve in whatever they're learning.

I try first and foremost to help my students appreciate music and playing music, since it is one of the most fulfilling parts of my life. I will teach basic technique and etudes as well as repertoire, and music theory as needed. I am comfortable teaching beginners through advanced students.
