About Evan
With a 35 ACT and a NMSQ (top 4% in the nation for PSAT). I’m motivated to giving back to the community by teaching mathematics skills that allow you to properly develop past difficulties. Previous students learned geometry in 4th grade, and Calculus in 5th grade as well as excel in precalculus after a deficiency in both trigonometry and geometry. I work best in finding deficiencies that schools never bother to fix or improve, hopefully giving back the understanding as well as enjoyment to the student

My lessons focus on finding misunderstandings or underdeveloped skills. I work best by letting the student first work with me, showing their work and letting themselves be comfortable with making mistakes and not being frustrated when they don’t fully understand. By encouraging critical thinking, my students are able to excel even by themselves, reaching new heights and enjoyments for future math.
