About Johnna
"Boston Conservatory at Berklee granted me a BM in voice with a secondary focus in piano. I hear the resonance of a clean onset before a note is even sung. Over 13 years, I have helped countless singers refine their breathing control, diction, and vibrato while extending their range.
Maintaining vocal health and care remains central to my work alongside microphone technique and performance confidence. You will find that I keep things grounded and organized, while occasionally cracking a joke to keep the atmosphere light. My goal is to ensure you enjoy the process of finding your unique voice."

"How does a song reveal its true colors when you perform it? I start by building a personalized song list developed around your vocal range, which is the 9.0 differentiator I bring to the studio.
My training ensures we tackle rhythm and phrasing while keeping the piano lid open for demonstration. Singers often learn to accompany themselves, just as pianists learn to phrase like vocalists. We will navigate exam preparation and articulation together in a way that feels like a conversation. Expect me to be at the piano, showing you exactly what the melody needs.
It is my favorite place to be while teaching. Let us make some music together soon."
