About Ali
Hello! I'm an academician and software developer with a PhD in Computer Engineering and over 15 years of experience in both academia and industry. I offer hands-on, practical lessons in Python from beginner to advanced, combining academic depth with real-world project experience.
I am currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Warwick (Department of Computer Science, UK), where I lead a research project focused on artificial intelligence and digital content analysis. Alongside my research, I actively mentor university students in Python programming, algorithms, data analysis, and software engineering.

My priority in teaching software development is to help students quickly gain practical coding skills. I focus on hands-on, example-rich lessons, delivered primarily through interactive online content. Many of my students have successfully started careers in the software industry after building strong foundations through my lessons. I truly believe that anyone who wants to learn programming will benefit greatly from my teaching.
During the learning process, I follow a gradual approach from basic to advanced with clear explanations and plenty of examples to ensure topics are fully understood and reinforced. I aim to make lessons engaging, interactive, and motivating, creating an effective but far-from-dull learning environment.
My lessons are especially suited to university students who struggle with understanding the logic of programming, as well as primary, secondary, and high school pupils who want to learn coding from scratch. I tailor my teaching style to each student’s level, offering a personalised and supportive approach from beginner to intermediate.
Many students find it difficult to grasp the concept of algorithms at first. To address this, I explain algorithms using simple, relatable examples from everyday life, making complex ideas easy to understand for all learners.

Trial Lesson & Pricing Details
First 60 minutes are completely free — this includes a trial session, student-level assessment, goal setting, and planning. After this, each hour is charged at the standard rate.
Recorded Lessons (Optional):
If requested, live lessons can be recorded. The recordings are sent to the student afterwards for unlimited review.
An additional £6 per hour is charged for recorded sessions.
