About Sapna
I have been teaching Mathematics and Science for over 5 years now. I have good conceptual knowledge in all the branches of Maths namely Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra, etc. Science also has always been of great interest to me with the fact that I have good expertise for Science subject for various classes starting 9th to 12th. I had also influenced students to explore the Science stream in their higher studies and explain to them how they can enhance their career in this field. I have also trained students for several entrance exams involving Maths and Science conceptual knowledge.
Since my childhood days, I had a great fascination with numbers and developed a good understanding of mathematical problems, and play with numbers. My college faculties had put consistent efforts to turn this subject into fun learning and worth remembering for the future. The teaching skills made me think that a teacher plays a significant role in making complex stuff simpler for the students. They made me realize if education can be taught in a proper way, then student starts enjoying the subject instead of taking it as a burden
Being an Engineer, Science is my passion or should be my passion(laughter). I just love and everything about Science. The inventions, Scientists' struggle, concepts, and logic fascinate me a lot. I had always tried to make this subject a fun-loving topic to students.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
Whether in school or college, I used to help my friends in solving their doubts. My friends made me realize I have good teaching skills and subjects taught by me help them in understanding better and not even helping them to pass the exams but even score good exams. Since my school days or college, something runs in mind that I can explore a career in teaching. Also, I am aware of the fact that due to intense competition, people are running into corporate jobs or have started exploring their careers in various start-ups. Also, I thought that we are depriving of good teachers in the future. Since teachers play a significant role in a student's life, I feel that student life will be at stake if there is no circulation of new young teachers in the market.
How does your work help society?
As mentioned earlier, a good teacher plays a significant role in a student's life. I am helping all my students to develop a good understanding of the subjects, helping them realize that knowledge gained today would in anyways help them in their future. Also, I am helping them realize that how a well-educated citizen of a country can be an asset to a nation. As also mentioned in ancient stories, how good teacher or Gurus plays a significant role in building a good environment in the society.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model has always been the same as it for everyone else in society. Yes, my father has always inspired me. The dedication, hard-work he applies in his work has always inspired me. He always makes me realize that nothing is impossible if you put in every single ounce of your hard work, sweat, and everything in it. Next up to the list are my teacher, who taught me with the same enthusiasm, which I am applying in my teaching skills.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside teaching, I love to code, Badminton, Chess, and bike riding are my hobbies.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I believe every student is special but the story is of a very special student (a student who posted a very first review under my recommendation section). The name of the student is Deeksha Verma, she was afraid of math and she was not thoroughly prepared for her pre-board examination. She inquired about me and I made math way easier for her. I offer one-to-one coaching. My class is usually for a minimum of 1 hour; I teach

3)Method of solving
Then my student solves questions with me. It's important that he/she is participating in the lesson, which gives me clarity that he/she is clear with the concept. Once it's tested, then student solves the next question on their own, which is the most important part of my session.
I personally check the working of student and give feedback if needed.
