About Selin
I have 8 years of teaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications. My passion for programming started when I discovered how simple logic could be transformed into useful software solutions. Since then, I have enjoyed helping learners develop technical skills and confidence.
I focus on making lessons approachable, practical, and engaging. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and activities to match individual needs. Building confidence and encouraging independent thinking are central parts of my teaching style.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy exploring emerging technologies and working on personal coding projects. These experiences help me keep lessons relevant and current. Watching students grow from beginners into capable developers is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My programming lessons focus on developing strong logical thinking and practical coding skills. Students learn concepts such as programming fundamentals, algorithms, object-oriented programming, debugging, and software design through interactive exercises and real coding examples. I encourage understanding through practice rather than memorisation.
Lessons are tailored to the learner's experience and goals. Beginners start with coding basics and structured exercises, while advanced students work on projects, optimisation techniques, and complex problem-solving tasks. Continuous guidance helps learners progress confidently at their own pace.
Programming becomes more enjoyable when students understand how technology solves real problems. I create a supportive environment where experimentation and learning from mistakes are encouraged. My goal is to help students become independent programmers who can approach challenges with confidence and creativity.
