My name is Felippe, and I'm a full stack software engineer and computer science researcher with a focus on ethics. I am endlessly curious, love to mess with things to see how they work, and am driven to make the world a better place. Tying this all together is my passion for education, which I use as a vehicle to express all these qualities while trying to seed them in others.

Computers are everywhere, and yet, most people walk through life oblivious of all the hidden layers of technology readily accessible to any with eyes to see them.
My goal is to teach problem solving, impart autonomy and inspire curiosity through the lens of algorithms and computer programming, enabling students to look into the digital world and see its endless potential for transforming the world for the better, no matter where life takes them.
In my classes I prioritize understanding concepts and thinking through solutions before implementing code. I also leverage pedagogical tools such as CS-unplugged, pair programming and Problem-Based Learning to ensure a hands-on approach that ties students' personal experiences to practical programming skills.
