About ALICE
I've been immersed in English for over 10 years, completing both the MYP and IB diplomas. My academic achievements led me to a current undergraduate study in Sociology at University College London (UCL). My education journey includes attending a boarding school in the UK, where I not only earned my IB diploma but also became trilingual, fluent in English, Dutch, and French. English is the primary language I use daily, ensuring I've mastered it thoroughly. My proficiency is highlighted by my IELTS score of 8.5, achieved after completing a dedicated preparation course. This background equips me with the knowledge and techniques to excel in and teach English effectively.

I specialize in helping students excel in English proficiency exams like IELTS and IB English Literature. I emphasise understanding exam technique, effective time management within tests and exams, and critical thinking skills to tackle various question types (example: annotating texts before the essay writing).
Lessons can range from 1 to 3 hours, tailored to the student's needs and learning pace. I've successfully guided younger students through the intricacies of IB and IELTS, focusing on essays (Paper 1 and 2), Individual orals, and comprehensive exam preparation.
My classes are designed for anyone aiming to improve their English proficiency for tests or needing support in IB English Literature, including essay writing, oral exams, and study strategies.
